Emily’s coaching approach is tailored, practical and based on 20 years of experience as a lawyer and 15 years as a consultant to lawyers. She coaches lawyers in enhancing their key professional skills including business development, delegation, team formation and management, profitability, communication, relationship management, succession planning and career advancement. Law firms refer their high potential lawyers to Emily because she consistently gets transformative results.
Emily’s coaching work is done in stages, the first being the “change contemplation” phase in which clients identify their goals and how they might achieve them. In the next ”active” phase, clients experiment with new, better ways to address old issues. In the final, “maintenance and embedding” phase, clients focus on long term transformational change. Although Emily offers suggestions and advice to clients, she also listens deeply and works with clients to consider new options and better strategies to achieve professional success.
